Rosemary leaves

Rosemary is a woody, evergreen aromatic herb. It has needle like leaves with pink, white or purple flowers. I had never used Rosemary in my cooking in India but it is a widely used herb in western cooking. I have used Rosemary as ornamental plants in my garden bed and I use it extensively for flavouring my soups, lamb cutlets and fish bakes. Rosemary pairs beautifully with lamb and chicken roasts. Fresh or dried leaves can be used for roasting vegetables and for barbeques.
