Tamarind is used as a condiment and souring agent in many of my curries, chutneys and vegetable dishes. Tamarind pulp is used as a dressing in many Indian snacks such as pani puri and chaat for its sweet, sour taste and aroma. Tamarind can be bought in any Indian grocery stores.
